Koinize

Protecting your information

Draft of 5 November 2026

This is a draft. It is being reviewed and may change before koinize.com moves to this site.

1. Who we are

Koinize Pty Ltd (“Koinize”, “we”, “us”) runs koinize.com, an information website about cryptocurrencies. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. What we collect

Koinize has no accounts and no forms: you can read everything without telling us who you are.

  • When you write to us: your email address, your message and anything you attach.
  • From every visit: our servers log each request, such as the address it comes from, the browser, the page asked for and the time, to keep the site running and secure. Requests to the API and the MCP server are logged the same way.
  • If you agree to it: Google Analytics counts your visit and the pages you open, as described under Cookies.

3. Cookies and analytics

Koinize sets no cookies of its own, and none for advertising. The servers in front of the site may set a technical cookie that only routes your requests; it holds nothing about you.

If you agree in the notice at the bottom of the page, we use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an id) that tell one visit from another and are kept up to two years, and Google receives your browser’s address and details of the visit. We don’t use it for advertising and don’t share it with advertisers. Until you agree nothing is sent to Google, and if you decline nothing ever is.

Your choice is kept in your browser. To change it, use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page; if you withdraw your agreement, Google’s cookies are deleted.

4. Other sites your browser contacts

The logos of coins and exchanges are loaded from CoinGecko’s image servers, so your browser asks CoinGecko for them, as it would on any site that shows them, and CoinGecko’s own privacy policy applies to that. A link to another site takes you there under that site’s policy.

5. How we use it

  • To answer what you write to us.
  • To keep the site, the API and the MCP server working, secure and improving.

6. Who sees it

  • The services we use to run Koinize, such as hosting and email. They use it only to provide their service to us.
  • Google, for Google Analytics, if you agreed to it (see Cookies and analytics).
  • Anyone the law requires us to give it to.

We don’t sell personal information.

7. Outside Australia

Some of the services we use may store or process information outside Australia, Google Analytics in the United States among them. We choose services that protect it.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and only the people who need it can see it.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your emails as long as it takes to deal with them and our legal obligations need, and server logs only as long as running and securing the site needs; then we delete them. Google Analytics keeps the data of visits for at most 14 months.

10. Access and correction

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and to correct it. Write to support@koinize.com and we will answer within a reasonable time.

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, write to us first. If our answer does not settle it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

12. Changes to this policy

We may change this policy. The date at the top says which version you are reading.

13. Contact
